Mental Health Awareness Week is October 2,2016 to October 8, 2016

FACT OF THE DAY

Individuals with mental illness often have co-occurring disorders.

Raising mental health awareness is an important topic year-round, the mental health community comes together to share knowledge and spread awareness about mental health issues.

About 2.7 percent of adults ages 18 and older (approximately 6 million American) have panic disorder.

Individuals with bipolar disorder make up 2.9% of the U.S. population with nearly 83% of cases being classified as severe.

A relapse is very common for individuals with depression.
Contrary to what most people think, mental health problems are very common.
